A large 18.5 tonne propeller from the vessel mv "English Star" was delivered to our Birkenhead workshops for a major repair.

Following the repair the propeller is to be stored at our facility until required by the owner. Just one of the many services offered by SMM Shipcare Ltd.

All four blades required new tips to be made, which were then welded into position followed by a full post-weld heat treatment, static balance and super polish
