  SMM Shipcare Ltd is a member of the Langham Industries Group and is based on the original manufacturing site at Birkenhead, Merseyside. This site has extensive workshop and storage facilities and is the administrative centre for our other sister company SMM Services Ltd.
   
  Together, the Stone Managanese Marine group of companies provide a complete range of services to vessel owners and operators, Port Authorities, civil engineering companies, Local Authorities and Agencies.
     
  Our national network of offices and workshops at Birkenhead and Inverkeithing, within easy reach of our principal client bases, ensures that we are able to deliver our products and services at very short notice.
 
D.R. Quilliam - Managing Director
  Don Quilliam joined Stone Manganese Marine Ltd in 1966. Commencing in the Drawing Office he held a number of engineering positions within that company including Works Engineer, Works Manager, Engineering Manager, General Manager of the Service Division prior to his appointment as General Manager of the whole company. A Mechanical Engineer, he has a unique practical knowledge of propeller manufacturing and servicing technology and is well travelled, having represented SMM at all major shipbuilding centres around the world. In 2000 Don transferred to the new service company, Stone Manganese Marine Shipcare Ltd, as Managing Director.
 
 
R. Auld - Service Manager
  Ron Auld joined Stone Manganese Marine Ltd in 1997 after many years experience in the installation and servicing of Controllable Pitch Propellers and Thrust Units. In 2000 Ron transferred to the new service company, Stone Manganese Marine Shipcare Ltd, as Service Manager. He is responsible for all matters relating to these products and, as SMM Shipcare are sole European agents for Nakashima Propeller Co. of Japan, he is the first point of contact for their products. Ron leads a team of experienced Service Engineers who are available at short notice, for carrying out service work worldwide.
